Louisa Mary Downs was born in June 1844 in Charleston Township, Clark County, Indiana.1,2 John Williams Jacobs and she were married on 21 November 1865 in Clark County, Indiana. She died on 13 June 1912 at age ~68. She died Forest Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, Jefferson county, Alabama on 6 June 1929 at age ~85 in Birmingham, Jefferson county, Alabama.
Louisa Mary Downs was also known as Louisa M. Downs. She was also known as Maria Downs.1 She appeared on the census of in 1850 in the household of John F. Downs in Charleston Township, Clark County, Indiana. farmer & keeper of Asylum for the Poor of Clark County2 She appeared on the census of in 1860 in the household of John F. Downs in Utica Township, Clark County, Indiana.1 As of 21 November 1865, Louisa Mary Downs was also known as Louisa Mary Jacobs.
