Biography

John Lewman was born in 1760 in Frederick County, Maryland.^1,2 He and Mary Sprigg were married in 1769 in Allegany, Maryland, United States. He died before 1800 in Iredell, North Carolina.^3,2

John Lewman was also known as John Lewman, III. He and Mary Sprigg were married in Maryland.^1,2,4 He was moved to in Georgia.² He was oathallegiance in 1776 in Washington, Maryland.³ He served in the military John Lewman was sargeant in Capt. Wilken's company 6th Peene Regiment, Continential Line co in 1780 in Pennsylvania.³ He died in 1800 at age ~40 in Iredell, North Carolina.¹ He died after 1820.
