Biography

Enid Nellie Matteson was born on 2 July 1902.1 She was born on 6 July 1902 in Buffalo, Sheridan County, Wyoming.2 She was born in 1903 in Wyoming.3 Miles Wesley Blatchley and she were married on 31 December 1922 in Buffalo, Sheridan County, Wyoming.2 She died on 6 July 1995 at age 93 in Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colorado. Braden Bogue, 22, of Hinton died Thursday, Dec. 16, 1999 at a Sioux
City hospital as the result of an automobile accident.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Central Baptist Church in Sioux City,
with Dr. Tim Blanchard and the Rev. Glen L. Littrell officiating. Burial will
be in Memorial Park Cemetary. Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 19 from 2 to
9 p.m., with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Larkin Northside Funeral Home.
Mr. Bogue was born Feb. 26, 1977, in Sioux City, the son of Stan and Judy
(Schuelke) Bogue. He was a lifelong resident of Hinton and graduated as valedictorian
from Hinton High School in 1996. While in high school, he attended Iowa Leadership
Conference. He was also a Boys State Counselor and an Iowa Ambassador of Music.
He was in his senior year at St. Cloud State University in St Cloud, Minn., where
he was majoring in English and linguistics. He studied Greek and Latin and was minoring
in music. He had recently returned from spending a semester at Oxford University in Oxford,
England. He had hoped to be an English professor at the college level.
He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Sioux City and received the A.W.A.N.A.
Timothy Award from the church. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in St. Cloud.
Hewas a member of the St. Cloud State University Choir, University Singers, Campus
Crusade for Christ, United Ministries in Higher Education, Stars Advanced Leadership
Program, Habitat for Humanity, where he was serving as co-president and coordinator
this year, W. W. Holes Hall Council, where he served as resident advisor, and College
Bowling Club.
He was a representative of the Honors Club and served as the Honor Society Newsletter
editor in 1997 and 1998. He was a research assistant on a Ph.D. program at the college and
served on the Judicial Board at St. Cloud State University. He was a Write Place Tutor and
enjoyed traveling, golf, track and music.
Survivors include his parents of Hinton; a sister, Brinne Bogue of Hinton; his fiancee,
Carrie Dygert of St. Cloud; maternal grandparents, George and Beverly (Blatchley) Schuelke
of Fort Collins, Colo.; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Alma (Giles) Bogue of Ulysses, Kan.;
aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Miles and Enid Blatchley and
> Fred and Anna Schuelke; and his paternal grandparents, Bill and Eunice Giles and Frank and
Mildred Jenlink.
Pallbearers will be Chad and Blayne Friehauf, Joe Hazelton, Loren Louwagie, Robin and Corey
Vondrak and Wade Sherman.1,2

She was migrated from in Kearney, Buffalo County, Nebraska, in 1939.
