Biography

Thomas Nicholson was born about 1785. He was born between 1792 and 1794 in Possibly Russell County, Virginia. He and Margret Davis were married on 15 March 1806 in Jessamine County, Kentucky.^1,2 He witnessed the death of Elizabeth Ann wife of Richard Davis on 28 March 1838 in Washington County, Indiana. Guesstimate based on the fact that Thomas Nicholson Senior charged the estate $210 for services in caring for Elizabeth from August 7th thru March 28th. Since this was charged at the February Term 1839, it had to refer to at latest, March 28th 1838, since it wasn't March in 1839 yet.³ He died after 1840 in Last Known Residence Washington County, Indiana. He died before 12 September 1843 in Washington County, Indiana.

Thomas Nicholson was also known as Thomas M. Nicholson. He appeared in the census in 1810 in Jessamine County, Kentucky.⁴ He appeared in the census in 1820 in Washington County, Indiana.⁵ He appeared in the census in 1830 in Washington County, Indiana.⁶ He witnessed the probate of the estate of Elizabeth Ann wife of Richard Davis between 28 September 1838 and 1843 in Washington County, Indiana.³ He appeared in the census in 1840 in Brown Township, Washington County, Indiana.⁷ He was witness on 15 May 1860 in Washington County, Indiana.⁸
