Nancy Patrick was born about 1811 in Indiana.1 She was born after 17 August 1820. In her father's will, she is listed as being in his "second family", i.e., daughter of Nancy Daves Harris1 She was born on 2 September 1821 in Near Watson, Clark County, Indiana.2,3 Henry Carney and she were married on 18 December 1838 in Clark County, Indiana.4,5 Henry Carney and she were married on 27 November 1844. She died on 26 January 1905 at age 83 in Jennings County, Indiana.6,3 She was buried in 1905 in Vernon, Jennings County, Indiana.3

Biography

Elizabeth Ann wife of Richard Davis was born in 1755 in United States. She was born about 1760. She was born before 1771. Richard Davis and she were married before March 1791. It is somewhat problematic that Elizabeth w/o Richard Davis is always referred to as "Ann", not Elizabeth in the Fayette county records. In Jessamine county, KY and Washington county, Indiana she is referred to as "Elizabeth", not Ann.

So that puts this whole family in the "it's possible" but may not be correct category.1 She witnessed the marriage of Elijah Nicholson and Mary Davis on 11 July 1810 in Nicholasville, Jessamine County, Kentucky.2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 Elizabeth Ann wife of Richard Davis died on 28 March 1838 in Washington County, Indiana.10
Elizabeth Ann wife of Richard Davis was also known as Ann wife of Richard Davis. She witnessed the land transaction of Richard Davis in March 1791 of in Fayette County, Kentucky.1 She was taxed on 27 August 1806 in Jessamine County, Kentucky.11 She was taxed on 4 June 1807 in Jessamine County, Kentucky.11 She was taxed on 23 August 1809 in Jessamine County, Kentucky. Checked Jessamine county land records - no purchase or sale of land by Richard or Elizabeth Davis.

Also note that the land is taxed under the name of "Ann Davis", not Elizabeth Davis. Could these be two different people?11 As of 1810, Elizabeth Ann wife of Richard Davis was also known as Elizabeth Davies. She appeared in the census in 1810 in Jessamine County, Kentucky.12 She was taxed Not in the tax lists between 1810 and 1812 in Jessamine County, Kentucky. She appeared in the census in 1820 in Charleston, Clark County, Indiana.13 She had her estate probated between 28 September 1838 and 1843 in Washington County, Indiana.10
