Anna Catharina Bossert was born on 4 June 1777 in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.1,2
Anna Catharina Bossert was also known as Anna Catharina Possert. She was also known as Catharine Buzzard. She was baptized on 18 June 1777 at Lutheran and Reformed Church in Hamilton Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.2,1 She witnessed the moved to Heinrich Bossert between 1788 and 1790 in Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Pleasant Unity is an unicorporated village in Unity township. It was formerly called "Buzzards Town," taking its name from a family who were descended from John Buzzard, who owned the land upon which the town is built. The name is now written "Bossert".3 Was appointed guardian to Anna Catharina Bossert in 1793 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.4 She witnessed the probate of the estate of Heinrich Bossert on 27 January 1794 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.5,4
