Biography

John Gardner and Harriet Constance Church were married on 24 September 1940 at Carson City, Nevada, Nevada, in Carson City, Lyon County, Nevada.1,2 He and Harriet Constance Church were divorced about 1943. The story goes that Aunt Connie had "little John" and then was put in an asylum (I'm guessing she had post partem depression). She was in the asylum for two years. During that time her husband, John divorced her and took "little John". This made Aunt Connie so very sad. She never got to raise him.3
