Biography

Thomas William Battin was born on 13 December 1818 in Ohio.1 He and Isabel Quigley were married on 9 September 1841 in Morgan County, Ohio. T. W. Battin's first marriage.2 He and Mary Pond were married after 1872. Mary married T. W. Battin after the death of John Quigley.2 He died on 8 September 1890 at age 71 in Perry Township, Davis County, Iowa.1 He was buried after 8 September 1890 at Drakesville Cemetery in Drakesville, Davis County, Iowa.3,1
