Dave Church and miss mamye Ellis, of Springfield, Ill., were united in marriage the 15th inst. The happy event occured at Steamboat Rock, where the bride was visiting at the home of Chas. Starr. The wedding was a complete surprise, none of Mr. Church's friends anticipating that he would become a benedict. Dave is a progressive and hustling young man who does things, and now that he has been joined by a loving helpmate there will be a more happy home than formerly down on the farm near Geneva.
