Pershing, widowed, living with “Partner” Solomon Pershing appeared on the census of in 1840 in the household of Christian Pershing, Junior, in Sugarcreek Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.13 After 1846 Solomon Pershing was a Farmer.
