Mary Lucretia Moody was born on 7 June 1826 in South Hadley, Hampshire, Massachusetts.1 John Quigley and she were married on 17 November 1844 in Calhoun County, Illinois. Married under the name Mary L. Forrest. This is probably a transcription error, of her previous marriage to Charles D. Foust.2,1 John Quigley and she were married on 19 November 1844 in Hardin, Calhoun County, Illinois.3,1,4 She died on 31 January 1892 at age 65 in Oro Fino, Siskiyou County, California.1 She was buried in Fort Jones, Siskiyou County, California. Mary Lucretia Moody was also known as Mary Lucretia Quigley.
