Julia's obituary says that she was the mother of 9 children, 7 of whom survive her (1908). "Left a widow at thirty-eight with a family of eight small children in the woods of Missouri . . ." My surmisal is that one of the children died before she migrated from Missouri (1880).

He was alive in the 1860 census. His brother, Horace Clay Quigley was born in 1861 -- probably named after him, since he must have recently passed on. He witnessed the death of Julia Ann Quigley on 30 December 1908 in Thornsburg, Hayes, Nebraska.14,15,16,3 He died on 23 April 1931 at age 72 in Lewiston, Nez Perce County, Idaho.3,17 He, died on 29 April 1931 in Lewiston, Nez Perce County, Idaho, at age 72.
