Lower - Spencer Research Challenge

It is believed that Jane Spencer, daughter of William Spencer and Susannah Allen, married a William Lower. William Lower came from Ohio to Illinois as an early settler. However, there are several William Lowers in the vicinity of Lawrence and Edwards counties. There were at least 3 Lower persons that married in Scioto county, Ohio, including William Lower that married Jane Spencer. The other two were Nancy Lower who married Henry Bennett and Frances Lower who married Thomas Bennett. It appears that Thomas Bennett may be the brother or cousin to my ancestor, Charles Bennett. Are there any sources that you have found to add to these families?
