Biography

Daniel Ermel, Sr., was born about 1754. He and Christina ("Christiana") Pershing were married about 1781.1,2 He died between 24 August 1805 and 24 April 1806 in Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.3
Daniel Ermel, Sr., was also known as Daniel Armel. He witnessed the oathallegiance of Thomas Winter on 30 July 1778 in Pennsylvania. Each of these men took the oath between 1777 and 1779 -- see the document for specific dates.4 Daniel Ermel, Sr., appeared in the census in 1790 in Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.5 He signed a will on 24 August 1805 in Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.3,6,7
