That would indicate that Either Catherine (1808) died before 1810 or Susanna (1809) did. At this point, I show Susanna married to Lewis Putt in Tuscarawas county, Ohio; so she probably was not the deceased daughter. With only 3 sons showing and other indications, I believe that George Vetter Bossart was the deceased son by 1810.12,13 He witnessed the christening of Cattarina Magdalena Kuhns on 25 December 1810 in Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania.7 He appeared on the census of in 1820 in the household of Conrad Pershing in Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.14 Christian Pershing, Senior, signed a will on 28 August 1825 in Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Peter Frederick Pershing
M, #25995, b. 1759, d. 9 July 1822
Parents
Biography
Peter Frederick Pershing was born in 1758.1,2 He was born in 1759 in York County, Pennsylvania.3 He and Maria Elisabetha Ulery were married before 1779 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania.1,3,4 He and Mary A. McGee were married in 1804.4 He died Buried in Hice-Pershing Cemetery on 9 July 1822 at age ~63 in Indiana County, Pennsylvania.3,4,5 He died in 1830 at age ~71.1 Peter Frederick Pershing was also known as Frederich Pfersig. Research Note:. One reference says that Frederick's child Elisabeth was born in 1773; another for the same church record says 1783. If she was, indeed, born in 1773, Frederick would have only been 15 years old -- so that's rather unlikely, but possible. It's more likely that Elizabeth was born in 1783.
However, he is taxed in Westmoreland county, PA in 1783. So it would appear that he was there and not in Frederick county, MD, where Elizabeth was baptized. He was taxed in 1783 in Mount Pleasant Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.6 He was a grantee of on 29 January 1792 of in Wheatfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.7,7 He was witness on 9 August 1796 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.8 He was taxed in 1798 in Mount Pleasant Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.6
